The 9 days of Shein challenge was supposed to be 90 days in a row of wearing only a tiny collection of Shein clothing to see how it stands up to multiple wears and washes.
However, I ended up taking a short break at the end of June as I had a work trip and needed to wear professional work attire. That wasn’t included in my capsule wardrobe as I almost always work from home and didn’t want to buy clothes for other activities that would only be worn once or twice.
That trip was 25-30 June and I planned to go straight back to the challenge on my return. However … when I arrived home after a full 24 hours travelling, it was to a hamper full of dirty laundry and just a couple of days before another trip to visit family and friends in other parts of the UK. And when I opened my suitcase for the first night away I discovered I’d forgotten to pack the Shein denim trousers.
So finally, on our way home I’ve got around to wearing my Shein clothes again, and I’ll be back to doing the challenge full time from today.
